Tournament Format

The Championship will be single elimination Match Play, two matches per day beginning on Thursday, August 9, 2012 and concluding Saturday, August 11, 2012, weather permitting.

Qualifying begins on Wednesday, August 8, 2012.  See Qualifying for more information. 

The starting field will be limited to 64 players, who will be determined by exemptions (See Exemptions) and an on-site qualifier on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 (See Qualifying).
